Our mission

Every St. Peter parent and guardian is already a member. If your child is enrolled, you're in.

Our mission, from our bylaws, is to help parents and teachers live by example in our faith and love of Jesus, and to enable students to be the best possible stewards of the talents and skills God has given them.

Event calendar, 2026–2027

Three months are still open. If you've ever thought about running something, those are yours for the taking — bring the idea to a meeting.

Our three biggest events

Each has a dedicated lead who owns it end to end, with the board providing support, funding, and coordination.

Our goals this year

• A healthy, positive community where parents, students, and staff know and support each other.
• A better experience for students and teachers through funding for classrooms, shared spaces, and learning materials.
• Events that bring us together — like the Gala and the Jog-a-Thon — that raise funds and unite the St. Peter school, church, and Lodi community.

How you can help

Helping the PTL doesn't have to mean stacking folding chairs, though we love that too. The most valuable thing you can bring is whatever you're already good at.

• Skills and expertise — graphic design, photography and videography, social media, apparel and online sales, IT and technical help, and construction or trades expertise for campus projects.
• Time and hands — volunteering at events, leading an event, chairing a committee, or helping source auction and raffle items.
• Resources and connections — event gear to lend, trusted vendor relationships, and sponsorship connections through your employer or local Lodi businesses.

With a large group, small contributions of time and talent add up — and a better-funded, more vibrant school is the one your children walk into every morning.

Meetings

We meet for one hour on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM in the School Library — the same day as Two Can Tuesday. Join in person, or on Google Meet if getting to campus is hard that night.

At each meeting, school administration gives a campus update, we review the PTL budget, vote as a group on staff funding requests, coordinate upcoming events, and leave open time for new ideas. This year we're starting each meeting with quick introductions, so it's one of the easiest ways to meet other parents, guardians, and teachers.

Notes are posted here after each meeting, so you can catch up on anything you miss. The first set of the year goes up after our September meeting.

Board, 2026–2027

The board keeps the PTL running — setting the agenda, managing the money, coordinating with the school, and making sure events happen. Officers are elected by the membership.

• President — runs monthly meetings, serves as the main link to school administration, and delegates work across the board.
• Vice President — supports the President and owns cross-cutting operations.
• Secretary — takes and publishes meeting notes, and communicates with school administration.
• Treasurer — manages PTL finances, keeps the books, and presents the budget each month.

Committees and appointed roles

Committee chairs own steady, year-round work. Members-at-large are appointed to run special programs.

The single best next step is to come to a meeting. It's one hour, and you'll hear the admin update, meet other families, and find the way you want to get involved.
